Vinted is partnering with Charli XCX to wear secondhand looks throughout her current “Music, Fashion, Film” tour, the company revealed Tuesday.
Alongside Charli’s longtime stylist Chris Horan, the singer has incorporated a slew of vintage and preloved pieces sourced from Vinted sellers for her touring wardrobe.
“Charli is known for her fun, accessible and distinctive personal style, as well as her ability to shape culture,” Jessie de la Merced, vice president of corporate affairs at Vinted, said in an interview. “She is the perfect partner to help inspire even more people to try secondhand fashion with Vinted.
“With a style that is unapologetically her own, Charli is a natural fit for Vinted. She is a longtime fan of secondhand and archival fashion and, together with her stylist Chris Horan, has consistently incorporated pre-loved pieces into her concert and red-carpet looks. That genuine connection to secondhand fashion meant we could create something authentic that brings our shared passion to life.”
Vinted noted that the partnership with Charli was a natural alignment given her own personal style tapping vintage and archival fashion over the years. Charli said that secondhand is a core part of her sartorial philosophy — and working with Horan sees her mix older pieces with newer styles to feel more personal and do something unexpected.

“I’ve always loved the idea that clothes can have more than one life,” Charli exclusively told WWD. “The Saint Laurent dress had a huge moment on stage in Paris, then came with me to my wedding after party. Why should a dress only get one night?”
Throughout the “Music, Fashion, Film” tour, Horan sourced a number of pre-loved and designer pieces on Vinted using search words “distressed,” “Gothic” and “flounce.” Finds on the platform include an early-2000s Christian Audigier piece that was reimagined into a dress for the Austin City Limits music festival, a sheer gray blouse worn in San Diego and a black Roberto Cavalli dress worn to the Academy Gala after party in Los Angeles and for her final show in Las Vegas. Another find on the platform, a floor-length Donna Karan dress, is yet to make its debut on stage.
As part of the partnership, Charli will be opening up her closet to give consumers the opportunity to shop. On Nov. 16, a selection of personal archive, tour wardrobe and other items sourced by Horan that will be available for purchase on Vinted for users in the U.K., U.S. and Australia. Brands include Emporio Armani, Seven For All Mankind, ReVice Jeans, Zadig & Voltaire, Gap, R&M Leathers and more. All the proceeds from the shop will benefit Rainbow Railroad to support LGBTQIA+ people facing persecution.
“Our partnership with Charli means that an item from your closet could have been worn on her U.S. tour. And likewise, items she has worn to major moments could soon become part of your own wardrobe. This is such a strong example of what Vinted is all about: giving pieces a second life and making secondhand fashion mainstream,” Merced concluded.
